Goodbye New York, Hello World!

Have you ever said, "I want to go far, far away from it all!"? We all have.
Ever wonder what this rat race is all for? Yeah, us too.
Have you found yourself spending time and money on things that really shouldn't be a priority? Been there.
Do you put off your dreams for any number of the standard excuses?
... Not us. We are doing something about it!

We love to travel. We crave it. We have this burning passion for it. Why not do what you love? Life is far too short to not do what invigorates you, makes you feel alive, gives you a better sense of purpose in this large (but small) world. With little financial responsibility, a travel partner, and a decent chunk of savings, why not go?

Nelson and I are leaving our lives in NY behind for 6+ months of travel around this beautiful globe. We are going to see things some only dream of seeing. We will do things many do not get the chance to do. We will share our amazing experiences here for everyone to "tag along." Consider this blog our virtual carry on and we are packing you with us!

With 60 days until we depart, we will share our steps of planning, packing, and departing leading up to the big day! So bookmark this blog now. It's going to be a journey of a life time!

We are making our dream a reality. No matter what your dream is we hope this adventure inspires you to go for yours! This blog is dedicated to the dreamers, and will hopefully convert some to do-ers!

A friend recently told me, "Oh, well when you get back, NYC will just be another city to you after all the amazing places you are going to."

I thought about it and said,"No way. Not possible. NY will always be amazing and home will always be home."

"Where we love is home, Home that our feet may leave, but not our hearts."
