Our 2011-2012 Itinerary

In Nov 2011 we took off on our first round the world trip. The trip lasted 7 months. Below was our rough itinerary.

Our friends and family have been asking for our itinerary. We are encouraging everyone who would like to visit a place on our schedule to let us know! We would love additional travel partners! Look for us at a city near you! If you have traveled or live in these countries we want to hear from you!   • Nov 08: Depart NYC to London, UK
  • Nov 10: Depart London, UK to Rio De Janiero, Brazil
  • Nov 21: Depart to Rio De Janiero to Sao Paulo, Brazil
  • Nov 24: Depart Sao Paulo, Brazil to Buenos Aires, Argentina
  • Dec 08: Depart Buenos Aires, Argentina to Lima, Peru
  • Dec 20: Depart Lima, Peru to Santiago, Chile
  • Dec 23: Depart Santiago, Chile to Auckland, New Zealand
  • Jan 15: Depart Auckland, New Zealand to Sydney, Australia
  • Feb 05: Depart Sydney, Australia to Bali, Indonesia
  • Feb 12: Depart Bali, Indonesia to Singapore, Singapore
  • Feb 19: Depart Singapore, Singapore to Bangkok, Thailand
  • Mar 26: Depart Phuket, Thailand to Singapore, Singapore
  • Mar 27: Depart Singapore, Singapore to Tokyo, Japan
  • Apr 3: Depart Tokyo, Japan to London, UK
  • Apr 3- May TBD: Travel throughout Europe

  1. What a spectacular adventure! I very much admire you both for doing this (and for the fancy blog!) Better to see the world while you're young (and it's still mostly in place!)

    When Frank told us about the trip, I had some suggestions for places you might see along the way, but most of them are on your itinerary! You might try to get to Chiang Mai in Thailand and the Gold Coast in Aussie. You might even try Darwin, which I found to be the most unusual part of the Land Down Under!

    When you get closer to the European part of the trip, I may have some more detailed suggestions. Europe is relative small and easy to get around by rail.
